Championship Format
Two leagues of 6 teams will compete in the 2008 Banks and Brokers Football (Autumn) Championship
In both leagues each team will play all other 5 teams once at Play On Sports
3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and zero points for a loss
A team will be deducted 3 points for failing to turn up for a match and the opposition team will be awarded a 5 goals to nil WIN. A team which fails to turn up for a match without giving Accomplish Management prior notice will be fined £50 and this fine will need to be paid in full before the team plays its next match
If a team is not ready to play by the time the game is due to start the team will lose 1 goal every 5 minutes until the game starts i.e. a team which is only ready to play 5 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time will start 1 nil down assuming the opposition team were ready on time
If a team cannot make it on any given occasion they must give Accomplish Management Ltd at least 1 weeks notice and Accomplish Management Ltd will try and re-schedule the fixture for you. However, this is not a guarantee that it can be done, as the parameters of the league cannot be changed. Rescheduling of games could only be done within the 7-9pm time frame that is scheduled for the league
The top 2 finishing teams in each league will progress to the semi-finals and then the Grand Final.
40 minute games – running clock
Each team will comprise of a maximum of 10 squad members who will all have to register to play in the Championship
Please note that each player must play a minimum of 3 games for the team in order to qualify for semis and finals
